The PDE seal is particularly suitable for sealing pistons in double-acting hydraulic cylinders, used in earth-moving machinery where harsh operating conditions exist, such as misalignments and/or vibrations under high pressure.
The PDE seal is particularly suitable for sealing pistons in double-acting hydraulic cylinders, used in earth-moving machinery where harsh operating conditions exist, such as misalignments and/or vibrations under high pressure. It consists of 5 elements: a central sealing part made of NBR, two support bases made of fabric-reinforced rubber (or, alternatively, thermoplastic), and two guide rings made of acetal resin. In addition to the standard version, it can also be produced with special material suitable for high temperatures.
